100 Geekers of Star Wars!

Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
The wait is over! It's time to announce... the pinaccle of Geek-Dom! The ultimate uber-geeker! Series 5 of Movie Geekers! Its... 100 Geekers of Star Wars!!!
What is this, you ask? Well. In 2011, I will be graced with the challenge of creating 100 Geekers based on Star Wars. As you can see, this is the largest series of Geekers as of yet. Star Wars, the geekiest franchise which started it all, deserves a truly geek-tacular event. Star Wars comprises of 6 movies and several TV specials, in addition to a cartoon movie and ongoing animated series. Here's a recap of Star Wars, for those who are unfamiliar with it(though probably no one falls under that category).

It all started in 1977...
-Star Wars (A.K.A. Episode VI:A New Hope): The original Star Wars. Expect Geekers based on Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca.
-Star Wars II (A.K.A. Episode V:The Empire Strikes Back): Star Wars becomes even more successful and geeky. Expect Geekers based on Boba Fett and Lando Calrissian.
-Star Wars III (A.K.A. Episode VI: Return of the Jedi): Star Wars caps off the original trilogy. Expect Jabba and the Emperor.
-Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace: The start of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Not halfway as good as the original ones, though. Expect Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul.
-Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones: The second film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Expect Anakin, Mace Windu, Yoda, and off course Jango Fett.
-Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith: The end to the pequels. Expect General Grievous and Count Dooku.
-Star Wars: The Clone Wars: A animated cartoon based on the Prequel trilogy. There is also a Clone Wars animated TV show. Expect Ahsoka, Ventress and Cad Bane!

Also, there's some basic rules of 100 Geekers of Star Wars:
-There can't be repeats of the same character. That means Anakin/Vader, Obi Wan/Old Obi Wan, Padme/Prego Padme, etc.
-They have to be named characters. That means no people from the Cantina or Dexter's Diner. No random Jedis either.
-There can be Expanded Universe (Outside of movies) characters, but I will try to limit them.

So, Am I up for the challenge? I hope so! Alright, this time I won't say that stuff I usually say. I just want to wish you a happy, safe, and healthy New Year. And I bid you all goodnight, for I am watching a Honeymooners marathon.

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! It is officially Janurary 1st, 2011! So. Here's our 2011 schedule to look forward to:
-A Lady Gaga Geeker
-Iron Man Geekers
-Green Hornet Geekers
-Batman Geekers
-Our uber-geeky Star Wars event... next post!

LOTR wave 4: the baddies!

New Year's Eve! Nuff said. Well, anyways, I promised you the LOTR series would be complete by new years, and I was right: here's the next wave. Tomorrow will be another wave, comprised of two, er, one character.
First, here's the Morgul Lord, fierce commander of Sauron's. No man can kill him: but he gets beaten up (more like pwned) by a girl!

Second, the chief antagonist, Sauron. This is not Sauron himself, but rather the Eye of Sauron, his mythical superweapon and telescope, and him in his energy form.

Saruman, Sauron's ally and the archrival of Gandalf.
So! This is the second to last wave of LOTR! Look forward to seeing the final one either tonight or tommorow! But the real treat here is the cap to Tron Legacy. Here you go:
Castor, who betrays Sam and Quorra. So! Now the Tron Legacy series is complete! Kudos to MovieGeekers for a complete series: Series 1, Tron Legacy. And have a happy new year's eve!

Happy almost newyear!

Well! New Years is tomorrow! First, I have to apologise for the lack of Geekers. They're already done, I just have to post them. But on the bright side though, the votes have come in, and they mostly point in favor of Lady Gaga! So look forward to seeing a Geeker based on her! So, again, sorry for the lack of cartoons, but look forward to the next wave, based on Lord of the Rings, and two, er one, super-special LOTR character! So there's going to be Lord of the Rings wave 4, and the special guy! Awesome, right? I think you know who I mean! And it has come to our attention that we missed a character from Tron: Legacy. Yes, it's the guy who killed it: the flamboyant Castor! He will cap of series 1, Tron Legacy! Yes! We have almost completed a series! (And another, LOTR!) So that makes two! And next, look for a classic Geeker series: what a way to hit off 2011 by doing something based on a beloved movie franchise: Iron Man! Be sure to look out for an Iron Man series! And stay tuned for our geek-a-licious Star Wars event! Well, our line of spoilers ends here. But readers, if there's any, be sure to:

2010 commemorative Geeker?

Well! New years is the day after tomorrow, and the Lord of the Rings project is complete: almost! There's 1 more wave to see and a super-special Geeker! But MovieGeekers has decided to make a commemorative Geeker for 2010. Here's 3 choices. Vote for your favorite in the comments!
a) Well, maybe we could go in the direction of the music industry. Though I am a guy, both genders have to go gaga for her: A Lady Gaga Geeker?
b) Or, because geeky movies and other things are our specialty, maybe we could go with the greatest and geekiest movie of 2010, Avatar! Released early in the year, but none of the films can trump it! Not even Tron, though it was like the sci-fi version of Avatar. Don't be confused with the summer flick The Last Airbender (More like the last fail-bender, haha)! So maybe, how about: An Avatar Geeker?
c) Or possibly, last but not least, we could go in the direction of randomness and ridicule: an internet sensation. Hide yo kidz hide yo wivez: the third choice: an Antoine Dodson Geeker! Now you can run and tell that, homeboy!

So vote in the comments! And don't forget to check out our Deviantart page, and leave a comment. Email us at moviegeekers@gmail.com and don't forget to be a follower!

LOTR wave 3!

Well, for the lack of Geekers yesterday, we're going to give you more Geekers today! Here's the new batch:
Well, here's the head honcho himself, the Spock-esque Elrond! He was always one of the weirder characters.
The Smurfette of the Lord of the Rings Geekers (The only female one), here's the lady of light Galadriel.

Last but certainly not least, here's the last of the Fellowship, Boromir, who becomes consumed by the power of the Ring.
Good news, the Fellowship of the Ring is complete! Now all that's left are the baddies, so look out for those too. And stay tuned for the super-special character! Also, don't forget to visit our Deviantart page(which is far from complete) and look at our posts, and comment! In addition, email us at moviegeekers@gmail.com, and don't forget to be a follower and a true believer!

Hobbits!

Well, here's wave 2 of the Lord of the Rings Geekers, consisting of the hobbits from the Fellowship of the Ring. Hobbits were always my second favorite short creature. Of course, my favorite is Yoda. Wow, I can just picture Frodo and Yoda in a slap fight. Two hobbits were also part of a climactic battle on top of Mount Doom. That was really one of the high points of the Trilogy. Like Sean Kingston said, "That little shawty fire burnin on the dance floor." Anyway, here they are...
Sam, Frodo's loyal friend and companion.

Pippin and Merry, troublemaker friends of Frodo's.

And from sneak preview, Frodo, the bearer of the Ring.

Recap!

I hope you liked those Lord of the Rings Geekers! Just for your enjoyment, here's all the Tron Legacy Geekers on one page. Wait, make that almost all the Tron Legacy Geekers: there's a special one coming up! That's right, upon further replaying of the movie in my mind, I discovered that there was 1 character that I left out! Look forward for him soon! Without further ado, may I present... all the Tron Legacy Geekers... so far!

Lord of the Rings wave 1!

Well, my plans are moving along faster than I thought! Here's the new group of Geekers. 4 cartoons of geekiness:
\
Aragorn, swordsman supreme and heir to the throne. Mustache power!

Gandalf the White, Gandalf's reformed state.

Legolas, crack-shot archer with a Hannah Montanna hairdo.
Gimli, the dwarf of the fellowship. A question, though: why are all dwarves gingers?
Well, be sure to check out more Geekers in the next few days. Expect the remaining hobbits from the Fellowship, everyone's favorite traitor Boromir, Saruman and the bad guys, and a super-special character! In addition, check out the sneak preview post to see another version of Gandalf and our favorite shorty Frodo. In addition to that slew of good stuff, don't forget to comment or email MovieGeekers at moviegeekers@gmail.com!

Sneak Preview!

Upon fan reccomendations, there will be a new batch of Geekers based on Lord of the Rings. LOTR was an extremely boring movie series, but with some very intense battle scenes. I've never read it, but Tolkien's book must have been really tedious to read. Now back on topic. The first wave won't be done until about the end of the year, but there are 2 test designs which were used. May I present:

Gandalf, the coolest wizard there is. Expect a Gandalf the White soon as well.
And another pint-sized Geeker, Frodo. Note the whiny expression.

End of 2010 project!

Due to popular fan demand and advice, the end of the year project for MovieGeekers has been chosen! Over the next few days, be sure to check for Geekers based on Lord of the Rings characters from all 3 movies.
But why not Star Wars or Star Trek? Well, it appears Star Trek is regarded as "boring" amoung many people. As for Star Warz, well, we have something special planned for that. look for the Star Wars mega-geeky-event in 2011!

Tron Legacy Wave 3!

Well, it looks like I have a lot of time, right! Wrong! I sacrificed my time for you readers! Just joking. Well (fanfare) here they are, Tron Legacy Geekers wave 3!!! Here's Clu and Sam without their helmets and vehicles, with their Identity Disks. I know you'll like that!

Home Stretch!

Well, 2010 is almost over! As a way of celebrating the end of this year, I have decided to make another set of Geekers for the remainder of the holiday season. Which geek-tacular franchise should I do? Vote in the comments!
a) Star Wars
b) Star Trek
c) Lord of the Rings
And email the geekers at moviegeekers@gmail.com!!!

Congrats!

I would like to commend MovieGeekers's first follower, Zinthef! Thank you for following!

Email address

Well, MovieGeekers's wild first day continues! If you want to comment or send fan mail (Which I know you do) email Masterforce at moviegeekers@gmail.com.

Tron Legacy wave 2!

Well, I have gone weary with boredom again. I can't do anything; the entire tri-state area has been engulfed in a horrible blizzard. So I have made 2 more geekers: Clu's henchmen from Tron Legacy.

Rinzler, an expert fighter who looks like he belongs in a combination of the Matrix, Enter the Dragon, and Las Vegas.
Fellow bad guy Jarvis, Clu's intelligence officer.

Merry X-Mas!

Oh, the holiday songs have ended. Christmas is over! Well, I would just like to wish all my readers (Which is probably only 1, which is my mom.) a happy holiday. For the Christians (And those who celebrate Christmas just for the presents, like me) I hope you get that red-ryder BB gun you wanted. For those who believe in morale, happy Kwanzaa. On another note, this weekend I went to see Tron: Legacy. A good movie in general, but with a poorly-thought script and ending. It was a stocking full of eye candy. Here are some geekers based on Tron Legacy:
Sam Flynn, the protagonist of the movie. He goes into the Tron system to free his old man from it.

Kevin Flynn: Sam's dad. He's the dude, Jeff Bridges!

Quorra: Kevin's apprentice. I was disappointed a romance didn't go on with her and Sam.

Clu: An evil clone of Kevin Flynn. The antagonist of the series.

Wow! All this pointless cartooning has made me tired! I need a life.

Welcome!

Well hello, y'all! Wecome to moviegeekers, the blog about absolutely pointless cartoons based on movies. Why? Why, you ask? Well, this is the child of an absolutely boring winter break. I really have nothing better to do than blog and doodle, so here it is. Now why? Again, another question. Why, my dear reader, should you follow this? Well, if you're a fan of movies, adorable cartoons, and geeky stuff, you can. It'll be very fun (I hope). So please, reader, bear with humble me.
Now back to our subject. This blog is about pointless adorable cartoons. I can think of about millions of those cartoons whose only point is to look cute. Off the top of my head, I can name a few: Spongebob, Pikachu (In the cartoon, in the video game he's the pinnacle of geek-dom.), and Hello Kitty. In fact, these guys definitely trump Hello Kitty. In fact, these are so awesome, Hello Kitty said goodbye to them. Ronald Mcdonald went on a diet for them. Sir Mixalot stopped liking butts for them. Snooki stopped using tanning spray for them. You get the story. So anyway, may I present... the Geekers!!!

Test

Well, this thing works!!!
